Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026

Willable is committed to ensuring that our platform is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We strive to provide an inclusive digital experience that meets internationally recognised accessibility standards and complies with European legislation.

1. Our Commitment

At Willable, we believe everyone should be able to plan for the future with dignity and independence. We are committed to making our website and services accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

We continuously work to improve the accessibility and usability of our platform, and we welcome feedback from our users to help us achieve this goal.

2. Standards We Follow

We aim to conform to the following standards and guidelines:

  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) — Directive (EU) 2019/882, which requires digital products and services in the EU to be accessible. Ireland has transposed this directive into national law.
  • EN 301 549 — the European standard for ICT accessibility requirements, which references WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content.

3. Accessibility Features

Our platform currently includes the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements can be accessed and operated using a keyboard alone.
  • Semantic HTML — we use proper heading structures, landmarks, and ARIA attributes to support assistive technologies.
  • Colour contrast — text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA minimum contrast ratios.
  • Screen reader support — form fields include labels, buttons have descriptive text, and dynamic content changes are announced.
  • Responsive design — the platform adapts to different screen sizes, devices, and orientations.
  • Form labels and error messages — all form inputs are clearly labelled, and validation errors are presented in an accessible manner.
  • Focus indicators — visible focus outlines are provided for keyboard users navigating the interface.

4. Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of certain limitations that we are actively working to address:

  • PDF documents — some generated PDF documents (e.g. will previews, signing guides) may not yet be fully optimised for screen readers. We are working on improving the accessibility of our PDF output.
  • Third-party embedded content — certain embedded forms or widgets provided by third-party services (e.g. feedback forms) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We select providers who demonstrate a commitment to accessibility and encourage improvements where gaps are identified.
  • Legacy content — some older content may not yet have been updated to meet current accessibility standards. We review and update content on an ongoing basis.

If you encounter any accessibility barriers not listed above, please let us know using the contact details below.

5. Feedback & Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Willable platform. If you experience any difficulty accessing our website or services, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

Please contact us here.

When contacting us, it is helpful to include:

  • A description of the issue you experienced
  • The page or feature where the issue occurred
  • The browser and assistive technology you were using (if applicable)

We aim to acknowledge all accessibility feedback within 3 business days and to provide a substantive response or resolution within 21 business days.

6. Enforcement

Under the European Accessibility Act and its Irish transposition, you have the right to report accessibility issues to the relevant national authority.

In Ireland, the enforcement body for digital accessibility is the National Disability Authority (NDA). You can contact them at:

  • Website: nda.ie
  • Email: info@nda.ie

You may also raise a complaint through the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.

7. Review

This accessibility statement was last reviewed in March 2026.

We review this statement and assess the accessibility of our platform on a regular basis, and update this page to reflect any changes to our accessibility practices or known issues.
